ABOUT ETE

ETE EmTechEngineering GmbH is your technical contact for air pollution control.

ETE is active in two main fields of activity. One is the reduction of pollutants from ambient air. Within this framework, we are working on the development of a fine dust filter for ambient air. On the other hand this concerns the reduction of emissions from small combustion plants. In this context ETE offers consulting and engineering services for Manufacturer of small combustion plants und combustion plant operators in order to develop solutions for compliance with more stringent emission limits, for example.

PARTNER

ETE is the first spin-off from the DBFZ Deutsches Biomasseforschungszentrum gemeinnützige GmbH.

ETE is a member of the Cluster Energy and Environment of the City of Leipzig as well as the Neu e.V. and the Innovation Center for Bioenergy. ETE also maintains contacts with national and international partners. 1st Place at the "Pellet Stove Design Challenge 2016"

From April 6 to 8, 2016, ETE participated as "TEAM WITTUS" together with DBFZ und "Wittus - Fire by Design" an der "Pellet Stove Design Challenge" teil.

With our "PELLWOOD" we could win the 1st place! The PELLWOOD is a wood-burning stove which can be operated with pellets as well as with logs and which could convince with extremely low fine dust and CO emissions. The catalyst developed by ETE and integrated in the combustion chamber contributed to this success. The "Pellet Stove Design Challenge" was jointly organized by "Alliance for Green Heat" und der NYSERDA and, like the "Wood Stove Design Challenge 2014", was held in the "Brookhaven National Laboratory" instead. Further information Pressemitteilung des DBFZ is available"Alliance for Green Heat" on the website. This prototype measured the lowest emissions ever obtained at Brookhaven National Laboratory. The Press and Information Office of the Federal Government has also already reported on this.

Next Generation Woodstove Design Challenge 2014

From November 4 to 7, 2014, ETE EmTechEngineering GmbH presented the newly developed NEKO catalyst

at the "Next Generation Woodstove Design Challenge 2014" in New York/USA (http://www.forgreenheat.org), ztogether with our partners Specht Modulare Ofensysteme GmbH & Co. KG (Specht), der DBFZ Deutsches Biomasseforschungszentrum gemeinnützigen GmbH in Leipzig and Wittus Fire by Design.

This competition compared the world's most innovative emission minimization and combustion optimization concepts at Brookhaven National Laboratory. A wood-burning stove from Specht in combination with the NEKO catalytic converter was awarded 2nd place. In a Press release of the DBU (Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt) it was discussed in detail
